How to Fight Slavery

Alex

Like Sun Tzu once said, know your enemy. And what better way for a human rights charity that called itself "Fight Against Slavery" to do its job than to, ahem, obtain first hand experience in handling slaves unpaid personal assistant.

In this ironic job listing from 2017 (which is most likely apocryphal), a newly minted charity purportedly tried to find a personal assistant with an unpaid internship position.

This reminds me of that joke: crimefighters fight crime, firefighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight?

What a complete waste of time. As anyone who has tried to read this book will tell you, it's beyond dull. So tortuously written and tedious in its telling that it defies any rational explanation. Many, many years ago I had to read it at school for my final English literature exam. Never again!
