This Alaskan Moose Chills Out Next To A Sprinkler

Alaska is in the midst of a record heat wave with a temperature hitting the 90s. According to NOAA, the normal temperature around this time usually ranges in the 60s.

As humans we can always resort to air conditioners, cold beverages, and ceiling fans to beat the heat. Animals, however, need to be creative.

A video surfaced this weekend of a moose in Anchorage, Alaska just chilling next to an oscillating sprinkler. According to the video's description the moose was "sprinkler hopping from yard to yard" before finally settling down, staying hydrated and getting in a nice soak.

It’s quite entertaining looking at the video of this moose chilling, but we have to be reminded that this is not normal. Global warming is an issue that we must not take for granted.

" we have to be reminded that this is not normal" ...it can get relatively warm in Alaska during their spring and summer. With all due respect, It is not unusual.
