Bioengineers Successfully 3D-Printed Tissues - Neatorama

Our bodies have an amazing way of healing itself but there are times when damages sustained can no longer be repaired or have irreversible damage and cannot be restored to the way they were before.

Now, scientists have been able to make tissues through a 3D printer and believe that they could be implanted someday into the body to help with the healing process especially for sports-related injuries.

Here in Montreal, they have ads that say "Faites voir vos fesses" (have your buttocks looked at.) The ads include photos of someone's rear end.

As distasteful as some might find it, there needs to be more awareness. Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer deaths the US, but it's one of the most treatable, if caught early enough.

A friend recently died from colon cancer because he didn't get checked. That's in poor taste, too.
