The 2016 animated film The Secret Life of Pets deals with the drama that happens among New York City animals when their humans are not present. It gets pretty suspenseful when the protagonists, dogs Max and Duke, leave home and fall in with a gang of dangerous strays, including cats, snakes, pigs, rabbits, and other creatures.
