1000 Rockets and a Bike

British inventor and madman Colin Furze knows the power of explosions in making a viral video. He customized a bicycle and loaded it with 1,000 rockets.

Then he took a little spin as those rockets went off. All for your entertainment. Do not try this at home. As if you could.

...but its ok i have some foam strapped to my back and my safety tie on.

Actually, this stunt is to celebrate Furze achieving five million YouTube subscribers. Congratulations, Colin! May you survive to ten million. -via Laughing Squid

I remember Gak from back when Nickelodeon sold it when I was a kid. Fun stuff! And I'm pretty sure I made this "recipe" in elementary school, but it never occurred to me that it might be the same concept behind the commercial stuff. Neat!

At the Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, it was called Ooblek as well, but they pitched it as a non-Newtonian liquid. I had to explain to a few kids what that meant, I don't think the presenters were doing a fair representation.

I used to make this when I worked in childcare and I give you this warning: Keep track of this stuff. I once lost a batch behind a shelf and it went bad. Badly bad. What the HOLY HELL is that STENCH bad.

Also, it is nearly impossible to get out of clothes.

Sheesh, I'm a buzzkill today. Pay no attention to the grumpy lady!
