Next-Level Tips From The Most Organized Home In America

I've learned to live with clutter over the years because I like having stuff more than I like having everything totally organized, but when I need relief from my cluttered house I like to look in on the orderly.

HGTV's Alejandra Costello is officially one of the most organized people in America, and about six years ago she created this video tour of her home, aka "the most organized home in America".

Alejandra is full of good advice like- include the nutritional info and instructions when you transfer dry goods to airtight containers, use tackle boxes to sort out your stuff, and label everything clearly so you know where to find your stuff.

Obsessive compulsive disorder is a mental health condition. OCD can be distressing and significantly interfere with your life, but treatment can help keep it under control. Hope she gets the help she so obviously needs.

Cool, he's half black lab and half border collie. My grandparents used to have a black lab-border collie mix.

I don't hate the birthday song, but I did get very annoyed when I was waiting outside a hospital gift shop and this guy was looking in the gift shop window and he kept humming Happy Birthday.

Our dog reacts similarly to the song "Lollipop" to the point that I get the stink eye as soon as the Dell commercial comes on! He hates it because he knows the "pop" is going to happen, and he doesn't like that. My guess is their dog doesn't like clapping, and the song is often followed by clapping!

Seems to me, with all that tail wagging and happy perking-up, that he ran outside for some serious play, wondering why the ones who started it are still inside. Seems to me.

My friend's dog does the same thing to the same song! She even sings songs like 'you are my sunshine' as his name is Sunny and he's fine, but boy when you start singing 'happy birthday' block your ears! We always wondered about this, and we were thinking, since dogs have a better sense of smell than us humans, maybe they associate the song not with people cheering and clapping, but with the fact that he can smell the lit candles and perhaps he senses danger. Dogs are pretty smart, he might have just learned to associate the song with the danger of fire. And until dogs can learn to communicate with us, I guess we'll never know ;)
