It's easy to tell when you're reading a good fantasy novel because you can't put it down, but telling bad fantasy apart from the good is even easier- unless you're among the uninitiated.
Those who haven't read much fantasy fiction won't necessarily know the difference between the really good stuff and the ludicrously bad, and therefore may wind up reading something utterly devoid of merit.
But if you start your initiation by reading the purposely awful snippets put out by Awful Fantasy Twitter account you'll become a fantasy fiction mastermind in no time!
