England's New Plastic Polymer Five Pound Note Doubles As A Record Player

The Bank of England made monetary history when they released their new plastic polymer five pound note- a futuristic bill that's supposed to be stronger than the old bills, with more security features and less environmental impact.

But they also unknowingly created a new generation of record spinning DJs- because the edge of the plastic polymer note can be used to play vinyl records.

Sound artist Michael Ridge discovered this cutting edge use for the plastic bill after some experimentation, but he's not the only one who has discovered neat stuff about this new bill.

Because people have been testing the boundaries of this futuristic funny money non-stop since it was released in September, and so far it has proven to be worth every cent!
