His fist isn't the only mass involved if the punch is thrown properly. The entire linkage from the ball of his foot through his hip, shoulder and arm are all involved.

Also, Superman is a stupid and broken concept.

I think, for the sake of the comics, we can assume that Superman never punches full force. He has the power to regulate the punch as to achieve his goal at hand. So to speak.
