Paris’ First Floating Hotel

There’s a new luxury hotel in Paris with incredible views of the River Seine, because it’s floating on it! OFF Paris Seine was designed by Parisian nautical architect Gérard Ronzatti, who has designed numerous vessels and floating restaurants all over the world. The glass and metal hotel was built in 19 component and floated from Havre to Paris, where it is moored between the Pont Charles de Gaulle and the Pont de Bercy. When I lived in Michigan we had a restaurant called "Uncle John's" on Telegraph road and they had a hamburger called 'the Hamburger Ranchero'. OMG! I was pregnant at the time and I craved these burgers like no other. It started out with a 1/2 pound hamburger topped with a fried egg, chili, cheese and ALL the fixings. I still dream of this burger once or twice a year...

Everyone has their ideal burgers. :)

I like it pretty simple, but I'm particular about a few things. I like the smashed kind with the thin, crispy edges like Steak and Shake or Shake Shack. I like American, Cheddar or "pub" cheese. Onion, but it has to be white onion. No red. Any lettuce can't be wilted or wimpy... preferably it's chopped iceberg or something crunchy. Dill pickles or pickle relish. Mustard and *a very light dose of* mayo = musts. I can handle a number of condiments unless they are dripping from and drowning the sandwich. I have to have a good bun that's oiled/buttered and toasted/grilled. Haha. Pretty picky, now that I'm reading back on it!
