Hyperrealistic Snake Canes Look Like They're about to Bite You

Mike Stinnett of Canyon City, Oregon is an artist who composes paintings, makes jewelry, and most impressively, carves canes that look just like living snakes. The level of realism in his work is incredible:

Stinnett records on video his creative process. Like all great artists, he makes it look easy. He uses grinders, chisels, and files to shape the wood. He he has a novel use for a spent ammunition cartridge casing and burns the imprint of scales using what looks like a custom bit.
