This Is a Plane Refueling a Helicopter That’s Carrying a Hummer

(Photos: USMC)

The United States Marine Corps has a long tradition of fighting anyone anywhere with limited logistical support. Marines improvise. This tradition of ingenuity is aptly demonstrated in a training exercise at an aviation base in Yuma, Arizona. In the above photo, a CH-53E Super Stallion heavy lift helicopter carries an entire HMMWV in slings. The Super Stallion is thirsty, so it takes a drink from the KC-130T Hercules tanker.

Think that’s impressive? Take a look at this:

That’s an MC-130 tanker simultaneously refueling 2 Super Stallions, each of which is carrying 2 Hummers.

uh.... indeed interesting; i agree with the comments on the other site: poor horse. However, aren't Amish not allowed to do the "new media" shizzle? either he can't be amish (linked blog post's title) or he couldn't have seen Tokyo Drift.. if the latter, the horse needs to get even more sympathy for the sick ideas of his owner...

Those who comment "Poor horsey" show their equine ignorance and have obviously never established a working relationship with a horse. Like any other intelligent and social animal they enjoy learning and participating in all sorts of activities. They are eager and able partners with humans. Well treated and maintained, horses enjoy the pursuit of a goal just as we do. Do yourselves a favor. Learn to handle a horse and find a new level of interspecies relationships. They are not pets, they are partners that are glad to hold up their end of the bargain.
