If Doctor Who Had An Animated Show, This Would Be The Intro - Neatorama

Doctor Who is such a beloved character in the world of science fiction that it’s really quite surprising he hasn’t landed his own Hollywood blockbuster yet, and it’s doubly surprising that the entertainment powers-that-be have yet to bring an animated series to the small screen.

Animator Stephen Byrne decided to help the process along by showing the online world what the intro sequence to the animated Doctor Who show might look like, and now every Whovian in the world knows what they've been missing in their lives:

Don't expect Peter Capaldi to look this smiley and happy-go-lucky during the upcoming season of Doctor Who, but the animated versions of fictional characters are always a bit cheerier than their previous incarnations, right?

In fact it's a brilliant crossover between Doctor Who and Gravity Falls - don't tell me you don't know Gravity Falls, the greatest thing to come out of Disney during the last few years? It's full of cool cryptography, urban legends and hilarious subversions - do take a look!

The world can be such a beautiful place with beautiful moments like these; I don't understand why people would allow themselves to live with hate and fear.

Somehow I do not think that volunteering for a makeover and being made to look ridiculous thrilled everyone. I only counted five (or so) out of the twenty in the video.

The initial seconds were ones of horror, not carefreeness. My guess is that the later snippets where they are laughing were filmed after they'd been let in on the joke. Cruel, not heartwarming. I'm glad no one did that to me when I lost my hair to chemo.
