A Natural, Cheap and Adorable Way to Heat Your Pool

These pool-top lily pads don't just look cute, they also help warm the pool with their polyethylene film. Best of all, this natural heating solution is far, far cheaper than just about any other heating option since you just need to get a few hula hoops and some film and then use a heat source to attach together.

I tried the hula hoop process but it didn't provide consistent heat. I have switched to this cover and it's raised my pool temp roughly 13 degrees. I refused to pay the thousands for a pool heater and this did the job. I do wonder how many seasons this will last but for 60 bucks, i'll take this over the alternative.
