Watch a Broken Fire Hydrant Lift a Car off the Ground

(Video Link)

Early in the morning of Nov. 1, 2011, a car ran into and over a fire hydrant in San Diego. The pressure from the erupting water line kept the back end of a Toyota Corolla lifted 10 feet off the ground for hours.

The driver was nowhere to be found, leading police to suspect that the car had been stolen.

You can read about the incident here (warning: auto-start video).
