Intruder Frightened away by Big Mouth Billy Bass

Big Mouth Billy Bass is a novelty decoration that looks like a taxidermied fish mounted on a plaque. When you press the button or walk in front of the motion-activated sensor, the fish sings and flips its tail.

It's also probably why a fishing shop in Rochester, Minnesota didn't get robbed. Employees at Hooked on Fishing found that a door had been forced open and their Big Mouth Billy Bass knocked onto the floor. There was valuable equipment and cash within sight, but there was no evidence that the burglar made it past the fish.

Police speculate that the burglar triggered the motion sensor. When the fish began moving and singing, the perpetrator panicked and fled.
