How Many Deaths Are There in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire? This Many.

When George R.R. Martin finally finishes his fantasy series that began with A Game of Thrones, the King of of the Seven Kingdoms will be the sole surviving human in Westeros--assuming that there are any.

Redditor ma_petite_choufleur, inspired by a similar photo for the Harry Potter series, bookmarked every character death in the series so far. Like the joke says:

George R.R. Martin, Joss Whedon and Steven Moffat walk into a bar.

Everyone you've ever cared about dies.

I have not read the series, but my wife has. She looked at this photo and said, "I thought there would be more."

That attitude will inspire dark things from George R.R. Martin.

It isn't like George hide that fact that people will die, 2 pages into the first chapter everybody that was introduced in the prologue is dead.
