This Newly Discovered Monkey Has Babies That Purr

This little fluffy monkey was recently discovered in the Amazon back in 2010, but there's more than one reason to be excited about the discovery of this adorable endangered critter -that's because it has babies that purr like kittens. Caqueta titi monkey (Callicebus caquetensis) lives in Colombia and it is estimated that there are only around 250 of these animals in existence, so if you ever want to get to see purring monkey babies either in the wild or in the zoo, you'd better help by donating to conservation efforts immediately. Conservation International is a good source to support the monkeys, but there are plenty of other worthy groups out there as well.
