The Twitter account Network Notes passes along notes from TV studio and network executives giving suggestions, critiques, and orders on their various projects. Only the most clueless notes make the cut. We've heard enough stories about the suits in both the film and TV industries to know these are at least believable, if not totally confirmed. Mantises can be very creepy when they want to be. This is good mantis. When you want to walk through a doorway and one jumps in your way with its arms up, it's not as helpless. Just cartoonishly threatening and kind of unnerving.

I have a similar bug that keeps hanging around my office and gets on the computer...no kidding! I put it in my plants but it keeps reappearing. How long do those things live?!

This used to happen to me at an old job, with jumping spiders. It was really fun making them jump and chase the arrow around the screen.
