Locked Door and Alarm Circumvented - Neatorama

This is how you break into a place with a locked door without tripping an alarm. Redditor hammartime2002 posted a picture of his store after a burglary. I can almost picture the Incredible Hulk doing this, although a commenter logically blamed it on Bender. Really, this had to take some serious tools and know-how, unless that door is made of aluminum foil. -via TYWKIWDBI

They obviously knew what kind of system they were up against. So I'm wondering about an inside job, too.

That probably would have interfered with the lock and set off the alarm. However, my husband tells me that many such doors have alarms set at the top, and if the infrared contacts are broken by opening the door, the alarm will go off. So whoever did this knew all about where the important bits were.

Maybe would have been easier just to knock out the other 2 hinge pins and then open the door backward.

Does that say 'ADT'? Ouch, they must be thrilled. Success was contingent on knowing what would trip the alarm and the composition of the door. Inside job?
