Yes, deep down we all know that animals don't actually express joy the way we do, so just because they look like they're doing a little dance of joy or have a huge, beaming smile, doesn't actually mean they're happy. Even so, it's pretty darn hard not to believe that the critters on this Buzzfeed list aren't in pure ecstasy.
It's also pretty darn hard not to get a giant smile on your own face when you look at these unbelievably smiley critters. In fact, you might want to bookmark this page because it's almost certain to help you cheer up next time you're having a bad day.
