There I Fixed It: Automatic Lawn Mower Edition

(Video Link)

Mowing the lawn can be so tiresome and boring. Fortunately, 99bbtom developed this ingeniously dangerous hack for a self-propelled lawn mower.

Anyone that's mowed a lawn more than once has had this idea... too bad he didn't let the video go farther, I'd loved to have watched the whole thing! Better than mowing my own yard...

YESSS! Now he just needs to adjust the post diameter for the appropriately sized mowing spiral. (Any math peeps who know the right term? Is it pitch?)

It gets messy when the mower is near the post. As well, one has to be there to turn off the mower before it pulls the post out of the ground and runs into the flower beds.

My mower wouldn't work like that. You have to push it or it won't go anywhere. If I had a mower that would go forward under its own power, I wouldn't consider guiding it to be work!
