Octopus-Flavored Soda

Takoyaki is a Japanese variety of battered and fried octopus. There's a soda that tastes just like it. Master Blaster of Rocket News 24 tried it as well as other flavors including salted watermelon, corn potage and curry.

Nope. Maybe next time I make it to the Japanese Grocer that's (somewhat, 45min away) near me. I was seriously surprised by the chili garlic, it's refreshing in this off sort of way. Same as the OP said spicy food is cooling on a hot day.
Also FYI takoyaki sauce is awesome on lots of foods.

I've had this soda. It actually tastes exactly like what it is but sweeter..extremely odd to drink. The curry one is just as weird because its like drinking a Japanese curry (which if you've never had it is amazing.)
I really like the garlic chili one myself. I'm not really sure if these are one of those sort of joke things just for fun and/or to see what Americans will try because its Japanese.
