Chinese DIY Inventions

Creative people don't let availability stand in the way of something they want. The Atlantic rounded up some great do-it-yourself projects that you may not had heard about because they are in China. See homemade submarines, helicopters, robots, cannons, and other amazing things, including a man with no arms who designed and built his own prosthetics. Shown here is Wu Yulu with his rickshaw-pulling robot. Link -via Jason Kottke

I miss old-style Lego Technics. Sure, the new pieces are fancy and all, but the old ones were much easier to be spontaneously creative with. I do recognize a bunch of old sets in the video, some with much sentimental value for me :P I wonder where all that Lego I played with is now..

The great thing about being a eunuch is enjoying things like a kid. I don't get as distracted by the more lascivious aspects of it. I wonder if some of the people in this district have done this life-changing and wonderful operation.

Wow, I had the starship and the rocket they were showing... I spend so many hours playing with those.

I miss that innocent time ; I don't mind my balls neither...
