Beautiful, Whimsical Garden Bridge

This is the Drum Bridge, a feature of the Japanese Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It was built in 1894 by the Japanese government for an international fair and exposition held that year in San Francisco. Have you ever visited it?

I went there with the fam several years ago, I'd recommend it! They have an outside tea house that was delicious, lots of nice landscaping and a few other items to take a look at as well. We enjoyed ourselves and would stop by again if we go back. ^_^

I have wonderful memories of going there as a very little girl and again a little older. I have 25 and 35 year old pics of me on that bridge that I want to find now. they used to serve tea and exotic little crackers for free at the end of the walk.
But that was a few recessions ago, the treat is no longer free.
