Cookies in Honor of Douglas Adams - Neatorama

It's been almost twelve years since Douglas Adams thanked us for the fish and wished us farewell. Had he lived, yesterday would have been the 61st birthday of the author of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Monica Holbert marked the occasion by making these cookies.

Remember that May 25th is Towel Day. On that day, carry a towel everywhere you go so that you're always prepared for an unexpected interstellar journey.

Ooh, I remember these ... they're good for a while, but were tiresome to use all the time. Optical mouse is much better (and I suppose that's why trackball mouse got muscled out of the market).

I love my trackman marble, I've been using them literally for decades now. They're great for navigation and the like (especially when there is a cat asleep on your arm). For drawing, though, not so much.

I started using trackpads on my desktop computers with the original Apple Magic Trackpad, and haven't gone back. I just like the way it feels.

At my work desk, I use a mouse. But at home, my PC is connected to a flat-screen TV that I view from the comfort of my recliner. A wireless keyboard on my lap, and a Logitech trackball parked on the armrest, make the perfect combo.
