Fallen Redwood Tree Remains Imposing


This photo illustrates just how much the massive coast redwood trees in Northern California dwarf a human in terms of size. This fallen tree is located in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The 53,000-acre park features 17,000 acres of coast redwoods, including four of the tallest trees on record in the world.

For anyone who thinks this bathroom is disgusting: never try to use a truck stop or convenience store bathroom in the South. Just pee on the ground and be happy to be alive.

Having just read the excellent "Packing for Mars", I note that astronauts have to do exactly that... the toilets have a 4" hole, and they get to practice with a camera mounted in the bowl. Space is not for the faint of heart.

Ewww, look at the overflowing trash can and litter on the floor. I don't think it would really matter if one missed in the Expert Mode.
