Coiled Snake Sword

Allegedly, these photos show a sword that fits into a coiled metal snake. It was made in Toledo, Spain in the Nineteenth Century to demonstrate the flexibility of the steel and the skill of the craftsmen who worked it.

He's probably not trapped, or else he has been for a long while, or he'd be fighting to be freed. He's probably a fledgling who just made his first flight and is too tired to try again

That's kinda sick. Bird could be trapped. I would shoo it away rather than risk dragging it by its claws across my windshield. Although, blood does wash out.

I highly doubt that it's trapped. It landed on the windshield wiper out of it's own volition. Birds perch on branches (or wires) swinging in the wind all the time.
