Magic Musician Chairs

This lovely performance is from the closing ceremony of the World Shanghai Exposition in 2010. We are used to seeing dancers fly through the air on by invisible wires, but what are the musicians sitting on? -via Arbroath

I'd like to scream "Butt magnets!!!" However, I think it is a take on the old Clown Shoe Lean. A built-in seat in one leg of their pants that connects to the stage.

I concur, saw them wiggle there feet into the stage portion of the mechanism prior to a slow lean into the seat.
