Noelia found a cute little dragonfly. It was injured and unable to hunt for itself, so she fed it live ants using a pair of tweezers.

This is the macro equivalent of finding an injured wolf and feeding it live bunnies.

^my thought as well. It seems strange to take pity on one insect and use the lives of others to nurse it.

It's cool seeing the macro of a dragonfly being hand fed, but the excuse of helping it seems really... dumb.

I think the point of interest was simply that one could hand feed a dragonfly - it suggests a level of sentience. As for linty's bunny analogy - only an idiot would waste a bunny on an injured wolf - give him kibble and eat the bunny yourself!
