The dreamlike quality of Ridley Scott's classic scifi film Blade Runner has been captured in a most painterly manner by Anders Ramsell, who reproduced thirteen minutes of the film (so far!) via 3600 watercolor paintings.
He plans on making over the entire film in this colorfully abstract manner, and I for one can't wait to see the rest!

Wow, some of those frames are incredibly detailed, some so abstract as to not know what you're even seeing other than shapes of colour. Really interesting stuff.
