Kids Singing About Death = Creepy

(YouTube Link)

This music video by Peter Alsop is supposedly meant to teach children about death, but I think it's actually just a cheap way to scare the living hell out of people searching the interwebs for cute kid vids.

And the way Peter inserts himself into the video doesn't help reduce the creepy factor. My favorite line-"will my foot hurt when I kick the bucket?"

I agree the creep factor is with the video and production, not the song itself. I suppose it would be creepier to hear kids singing "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" or "I'll Fly Away", at least IMO.

The song is not that creepy, its just natural for kids to also be curious about death. What IS creepy is the VIDEO!! Especially in the beginning the voice-over (adult male voice lip-sinc with kids faces... wtf?).
I liked that the song is about the questions kids (actually we all somehow) have about death. It would be unnerving if it was pretending to have "true" answers to all those questions.

Actually, I like it (but that little ginger kid with the flat affect is a bit creepy!) Kids really do think like that, and adults do shut down their questions about death, which makes the subject even scarier and more taboo. Having worked in hospice and bereavement with kids, they actually do ask these kinds of questions in a very matter of fact way.
