Adorable Baby Scorpions on Their Mama's Back

You know what Neatoramanauts love? Baby animals. Ya'll coo and giggle at the sight of little baby animals making their way in the world.

And we aim to please. Here are 25 baby emperor scorpions hanging out on their mother's back at the Cincinnati Zoo. You can watch a video of them at the link.

As someone who's been stung by a scorpion, "adorable" isn't the word I'd use. "Interesting" maybe. If you're wondering, a scorpion bite feels a lot like a wasp sting. Just wash the area with soap and water and you'll be fine. Unless you're allergic. In that case, get yourself to the emergency room pronto.

Aww, so cute! They have pretty white chitin, just like a baby seal, if seals had chitin and venomous stings for tails. And pincers, chelicerae & alot more eyes and legs. Other than that, exactly like a baby harp seal!
