Critical Thinking Skills Presented in a Classic Animation Style

(Video Link)

These videos by James Hutson are designed to introduce high school students to rational thinking. The style is reminiscent of the animated title sequences of Saul Bass. Therefore Saul Bass wanted people to think rationally. So watch the other five videos in the program at the link.

I was interested until he used the example of global warming and called it a fact... Hah! Just read an article today about the most recent study analyzing the glaciers in the Himalayas that were supposed to have "melted" by now... Study shows that there has been ZERO glacial melt over the last decade... Just another busted prediction in a long line of junk science for cash alarmist pap!

This is a stupid idea, or it's really a way to make fun of the homeless. Does anyone think this really helps them or gives them a boost to their confidence in getting out of this situation?

I'd have said that the biggest indication that they were in need of money was the fact that they had a sign made of old cardboard. You don't even need to read a cardboard sign, you pretty much know the message and why the person is there. Holding a pro-quality sign gives the impression that it's some kind of advertisement, and I don't think a homeless person begging for money needs one more reason to be ignored.

Seriously -- this is an awful idea. (Frank's sign in particular is utterly unreadable in its after format.) And as has been stated, a professional sign looks like advertising, not a personal plea from someone purportedly hungry and homeless.
