While I always though vampires were kind of cool, I find zombies to be a lot scarier. As it turns out, it might just be because I'm a bit liberal. According to this graph, more zombie stories are released when Republicans are in office and more vampire tales come out when Democrats are in power. You miss the obvious turn in the trend since now we have a Zombie Vampire as president. This is why we are having our blood drained and our brains eaten at the same time.

Zombies are mindless cannibal drones who have no comprehension our political system. Vampires on the other hand are beyond intelligent despite the blood lust. Luckily they are free of societies bonds, and have no allegiance to any government. Therefore they don't vote as well.
