That pool has not seen chlorine in weeks. Besides smelling like a swamp, it is likely spreading infections to all of the swimmers. The crane is the least of their worries.

Ah, I think they are running from the unexpected reaction. The uploader probably never expected it to go viral, or that so many would be offended at the green water. It's like no one in America has ever swam in a lake before.

This color water is what happens when you run a pool filter 12 hours a day instead of 24 hours with less than toxic levels of chlorine. And that's why I will never have a pool.
