wow? it‘s amazing to see the true artistic diversity that pixar has? at the same time it’s amazing how low quality toy story 1 and bugs life fit in perfectly with the rest of the canon?

"the beauty of pixar" is all there is to this. There's no transformation, the whole is no better than the sum of the parts. No special twist.
Just a bunch of competent editing. Maybe this guy is trying to round up some work as an editor. Then again, maybe I missed part where something original and clever happens... I wasn't able to watch it straight through. Nice technique with good material, big whoop.

I totally agree. It is one of the best of not the best video on the subject I have seen. All movies shown I have seen with my kids!

I agree about the lackluster technique. There's a lot of room for improvement. Still, it's hard to be *totally* bad with good material and good songs. I think some of the dialogue overlapping the montage though is random and not harmonious, and some of the split-screen'd movie homages don't entirely work for me. Pogo would do a dynamite job with all of the Pixar movies so far. Hope he does one. ;D

Yeah, I love Pixar's stuff and I couldn't watch a minute of this because the editing was lazy and the music was terrible and totally dissonant from the visuals.
