This image is a major fail. That's not an iPad - that's a mockup of what people thought the iPad was going to look like before it was released.

FAIL

Zzz.

@graymccarty No kidding.
- The iPad image is an inauthentic mockup.
- The iPod image is an iPod mini, not an original iPod. (The image is actually taken straight from the Wikipedia article on the iPod mini.)
- The iBook image is not the original, colorful clamshell iBook.

As far as I know, that is an original iPhone, though.

Not funny, not well done, not neat in the least.

What a pointless post.

The first iPhone was a VOIP phone offered by Cisco. So guess the only thing right is the iHop, unless we can show they are from Denny's.

Probably not from IHOP or Denny's. Judging from the quality of the photo and the pancakes, it is probably the work of a food stylist. The pancakes are likely made out of a type of foam and the syrup probably isn't even liquid.

Of course it is silly to get worked up about the accuracy of the images. It was intended to be a joke. Some people have no sense of humor. Even if it isn't a very good joke, getting bent out of shape over details that weren't the point of the humor seems like attention whoring.

To those first few posters.

(a) Who cares?

(b) Get a life.

That's not an original iPod. I just found one in my drawer, bought the day the first iPod came out. If the author of this page would like me to send photos of it on my iPhone, I'll be glad to. You should replace the fraudulent phone.

What about the undeniable fact that pancakes almost never have headphones plugged into them?

And what about the iMac, which was there in 1998, well before the iPod?
