Goodbye, Sun! - Neatorama

In Tromsø, Norway, the sun has gone down, and it won't come up again until January. It happens every year in this community in the Arctic Circle. Children mark the beginning of the period called ‘Mørketid’ by setting out candles in the town square. Link -via TYWKIWDBI

Interestingly Tromso even has a Botanic Gardens, I'd like to visit one day it looks like a really nice place to live.

Believe me, living in the north is not awesome. 4 Hours of daylight and -45 C temps in the winter is not awesome at all.

Wow I don't think it would be fun either. I would be pretty depressed when it's dark everyday.
