Sally Davies took pictures of a McDonalds burger and fries for 137 days, and the pictures never changed. It wasn't the first such experiment, but could it be replicated under normal conditions? This was obviously designed only to impact McD's when I suspect the three together would show similar results...
I would say this idea is no longer fresh, and has gone beyond stale. The idea has become so thoroughly rotten that feasting your eyes on its maggot-infested remains will cause exaggerated eye-rolling and projectile vomiting.
Please remember to clean up your unoriginal clichés once you're finished with them, in order to avoid copycats endlessly spewing out the same diarrhea over and over again.
