Scary Clown Ride Sparks Protest

They need to face that some people are always going to be creeped out by full grown dudes that wear clown makeup. It is just creepy.

As a total coulrophobic (person with an intense fear of clowns), I don't care that clowns are sad...good! I hope they are. Maybe if they're sad they'll stop being so heartstoppingly terrifying?
What I do care about is that picture of clowns, could you change it to puppies or something. No one ever provides clown alerts on posts, commericals, etc. I call for an International Clown Alert System (like a Threat Level warning or a Tornado siren) to protect those of us who want to pee in fright whenever we see a red nose or rainbow wig.

I always think of John Wayne Gacy when it comes to creepy clowns. Clowns have developed their own reputation. Deal with it. There is a website that has been around since 1996 that is dedicated to people who don't like clowns.

Haha this article is full of hilarious lines. I'm wondering how they feel about the movie Killer Clowns from Outer Space. Those clowns are from space, but they are still clowns. So are Earth clowns offended by that movie?

I never liked clowns. I punched a circus clown when I was 5. I'm not exactly scared of them but they creep me out. You're a person, in exagerrated make-up and clothing, you squirt water on people and you haven't ever been funny. What's so endearing about that? If clowns weren't a thing, they'd lock you them up in the loony bin if you did that.

I could never support anything clowns want for themselves. The government could systematically be killing and disposing of clowns and I'd be A-OK with that. Keep that right up.

I do love a good clown, but it's just inevitable that some clowns are creepy. I think they're overreacting. Does count chocula get in a tizzy when vampires are in scary movies? Or twilight? I rest my case.

I guess if the parking lot was crowded, as they can be at theme parks, these guys have no problems since they can fit all their clowns into one car and will only need to find a single parking space then.

The difference between clowns and sharks is that sharks rarely harm people!

Clowns should be abolished. They only serve to hurt and terrify.

As the saying goes; Clowns are people too; people who want to hurt you.
