Mini-moo: The World's Smallest Cow

A tiny British cow has been named the world's smallest cow by the Guinness Book of World records. The cow lives in West Yorkshire, England and measures just 33 inches tall.
The 11-year-old cow is named Swallow and her owner, Caroline Ryder, said she would spend Thursday either grazing with her herd or listening to BBC radio in her cowshed.

Swallow is a Dexter cow, a breed known for its diminutive stature, but is small even by Dexter standards.

She already has nine regular-sized calves and is pregnant with her 10th. Guinness said her youngest calf has already grown larger than she is.
In the photo, Swallow is the little black object to the right of a normal size bull. Link -via Fark

Great post - cows are cool, just ask Gary Larson. I just recently saw an article somewhere about the world's biggest cow, which was bigger than most horses. It is good to see the other side here :-)

This is also a great posting about the single cow in the world who has "perfect teats". And because the teats are so udderly perfect, the dairy farmer who owns her has over $3 million in pre-signed contracts for breeding. True - couldn't make that stuff up!

Blech, that was a waste of 10 minutes. It's a funny idea, but they just copied jokes, and poorly at that. Not to mention repeating Holy Grail jokes has been done and overdone for decades now, so it's even less funny than it would be otherwise. Don't waste your time with this.

Since the word “Brilliant” was used before the word “Parody” in the description you wrote, I take it your mean “a humorous or satirical imitation of a serious piece of literature or writing”. I have to disagree, and propose you change :brilliant” to “dimwitted and dull”– which would more accurately describe the type of parody it is - a “a poor or feeble imitation or semblance”.

This is a typical piece of advertising plagiarism… without an idea of their own; they steal someone else’s idea and then make a mess of it.

wow, this is bad.
Really really bad.

Perhaps it's less awful if you are familiar with the people in the video? I'm guessing they are US sports stars.

can you add a tag for 'failed viral'
and perhaps 'unconvincing astroturf'

You know, there was a time (possibly after the horrible PC video game) when I thought Monty Python couldn't sell out any more.

Wow. I hope Eric Idle has fun in his gold Bentley.

I love Monty Python and The Holy Grail. I hate these ads. I saw it on tv and though it was pointless and ineffective.

That seems to be what Gatorade is trying for. The last campaign for "G" left so many people just scratching their heads because they had no idea what "G" was. The ad was a long line of athletes, actors, singers, dancers etc. against a black background with a boring voice over that did not give any clue about what the product was and offered no information on how to find out.

Thank you for Johnny Cat. I did need that.

And SenorMysterioso, those other ads were so strange before they got to the mimes, but then there were MIMES and it fell straight off the edge of strange into WTF land.
