YouTube user ButterflysBone recorded her pet turtle desperately trying to get the attention of her pet cat. Cat, here's some advice: there are some people with whom subtlety does not work.
In my mind this was the dialog that went along with that: Turtle: "For the love to god! Kill me!" Cat : "Not right now" Turtle: "I'm a turtle, look at me! Kill me!!" Cat : "Suffer turtle. I'm out of here." Turtle : "Come back here and whack me you bug eyed pussy!"
You're out in your backyard. You see an interesting turtle. You watch it for 10 minutes, and it moves six inches. You run into the house, or across the street to the neighbor's place, to fetch somebody to come look at this turtle. You're back in a few minutes. That turtle is GONE. When nobody's watching, turtles can move fast!

Though it illustrates something I've noticed.
