Bedbugs Attack Hollister

Alex

For parents, shopping at the trendy Hollister (owned by the nosebleed-expensive Abercrombie & Fitch) has always seem like someone is sucking their blood ... but in New York that may just be literally true:

Hollister, the teen-oriented clothing store that's a subsidiary of Abercrombie & Fitch, was shut down yesterday due to what one employee described as "a massive bedbug outbreak" at the four-story SoHo flagship location. And according to our source, who spoke on condition of anonymity so that he/she wouldn't lose his/her job at the creepy "bedbug breeding ground," the senior management blew off complaints about bedbugs for almost a month.

I battled these little bastards once. Get a Aller-zip mattress cover: they can't get in or out of it. If you get an infestation, get a "dry-steam" steamer like this one: http://www.commercialvacuum.com/Monster-Floor-Steam-Cleaner-SC60_p_54.html They can't survive heat. It's cheaper than replacing everything you own.

It's interesting that despite this article having a subtle inference to 'billions of years,' that you not only refer to this area as having been Eden, but point out that its age is in line with the Biblical account of a global catastrophe (flood) about 4400 years ago.

The Sahara is NOT the world's largest desert as stated in this article. It is the world's largest HOT desert, but only the third largest desert, the first two being the antarctic and the arctic.
