Turkish Ice Cream Vendor Performance Art

(Video Link)

Dondurma -- Turkish ice cream -- is apparently made differently from ice cream in the United States, and has stickier consistency. Jordan Breindel of Urlesque informs us that in Turkey, streetside vendors of the substance often engage in a performance art as they serve portions to customers. More videos at the link.

I think this something that's probably unique to that vendor, or vendors in that area. I lived for five years in Izmir Turkey, and never ran across a vendor like that.

I can tall you you're right about Turkish ice cream being sticky. It's like eating somethings that's a cross between fudge in thickness, caramel in consistency, and super rich.

That happened to a character in a book I read once. I wanted to see how it would be IRL, but it always slipped my mind whenever I got the chance to look for videos in YouTube.
It's every bit as awesome and funny as it was described in the book.
