October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so you’ll see a lot of items produced in pink. Some product tie-ins will make you scratch your head and smile trying to figure out how they might have anything to do with breast cancer. Most likely, the people in charge of these companies are committed to the cause and this is the best way they can show it. My Benchmade Griptillian is pink for breast cancer awareness.

"Here's an incredibly sharp, fully locking, rock release blade to... uh... be aware of breast cancer!"

I always found it kind of odd that yoplait yogurt, in sponsoring breast cancer research, used the catchphrase "Together we can lick breast cancer".

I love it! The most memorable campaigns happen when companies use out of the box methods to promote awareness for a cause. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I have decided to invest in a company that supports breast cancer research... . Even if I don't see a return, I will have put my money towards a great cause.
