isn't all the weight in the neck? It's like having your head in the middle of the inner tube of a tire and tensing your neck and shoulders would be the only thing that prevents the rest of your body from moving (in case your kind of static like the piggy. I don't know maybe i'm nuts, but i get the feeling that pig isn't very happy.

Most animal farming is heartless from start to finish -- it's good to see compassionate attention to details like the comfort of runt piglets (sows often have more babies than they have teats for; the weak ones starve painfully). We all die someday; I'd rather have a relatively nice life with slaughter at the end of it than utter misery throughout.
