Craftster user UpKnitCreek created this Legend of Zelda-inspired Link outfit for a friend's baby shower. For authenticity, she (he?) even put leather soles on the booties and wrapped the whole thing in a wooden chest that looks like one from the game. More pictures at the link.

That is too cute though and such a nice person to go to so much trouble to make that for someone. Very cool.
And yes, since young infants and toddlers are incapable of dressing themselves, we do it for them.
For the full effect, did she hold it up over her head and then yell out "You have acquired the baby's outfit!"
