Is Neverland Ranch Haunted?

Last week, CNN took a trip through Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. In one of their clips, there seems to be a strange shadowy figure crossing the screen. While I'm reserving my judgment, I couldn't help but think you readers might have your own opinions on the subject. So, is it a ghost or merely an optical illusion?

It's just someone walking in front of the studio lights. Sheesh you can even see the shadow reaching all the way down the wood- 3/4 of the way down the hallway.

Lights like that are effectively point light sources so any shadow they cast will be very defined.

No, not Pareidolia. It's a real shadow of a real person, because there are other people in the house. Geez louise.

Its the ghost of that cinematographer that Christian Bale cussed out.

I really easily believe in things like ghost sightings and such. But even I can see that in the room in the back there is someone walking by a very bright lamp or so and casts a shadow onto the back wall.

It's a shadow from someone walking to the right behind the camera.... The light is coming from behind the camera, and you can see that the shadow is cast on the floor as well, blending with the foreground. Shadow for sure... sorry folks. As a filmmaker I see this effect all the time...

OK, I was going to say it looked like a shadow of someone walking right outside the window, but after reading the comments I like the "shadow from behind the camera" explanation better.

But really...Michael Jackson is going to be haunting everyone's TV and the internet for a long time to come, you know this! Get used to it!

I agree with everyone saying it was just a person waling in front of either some studio lights or a large window. I am sure that they did not have one lone cameraman there filming, and they were lighting the house for the segment. That someone would even consider this to be a "Ghost" is pretty ridiculous.

I have passed on. I'm not haunting any place.

Heaven is a wonderful place
Filled with glory and grace
I want to see my savior's face
Heaven is a wonderful place

Whoever said that it was the man in the mirror just got an idea for a good book. Mix that with the ghost-collecting comment and pedophilia and we have ourselves a potential best-seller.

In the first comment Jason Hirsch says that it is just studio light. Well he's wrong. If you look past the shadowy figure, you can obviously see the room down the hall has the lights on, so the studio lights aren't bright enough to make the shadowy figure. Did you also notice how the shadowy figure was facing and walking to the right and the camera man and the mic guy were both walking to the left. So it had to have been Michael Jackson's spirit. Also if you look at the shadowy figure's silhouette on the head, you can see that the hair looks like the same shape of Michael Jackson's hair. It had to have been Michael Jackson. For a 15 year old teen who is obssessed about the paranormal, I have really outdone myself this time.

Its funny how everyone in here is mocking things that they absolutely know nothing about. Everyone these days always has something sarcastic to say. We all are grown people talking badly about someone who is passed on. Its sad. No wonder the man cant Rest In Peace. Spirit or no spirit, at least show the man some dignity.
