Doesn't This Look Real?

You'd be excused if you ask why we're posting a photo of somebody's kitchen - what makes nifty is that it's not a real kitchen; you're looking at part of a highly detailed 1:12 miniature house, painstakingly created by Josje.

I just play The Sims when I want to make miniature kitchens. :)

That certainly takes a lot of perseverance. It's just different, having a real physical miniature kitchen and having it digitally on The Sims.

Ah yes, this involves cutting and pasting of a different kind. Remember scissors and glue? Lots of tools, materials, techniques, skills and creativity are involved in making this kitchen. It's that whole process which makes it something I love to do.
Quite a surprise to find my kitchen here!
